Abstract

There are many factors/causes responsible for the etiology of eczema, which is an inflammatory skin disease, and the most common cause of hand eczema etiology in the COVID-19 pandemic period is contact dermatitis with the use of disinfectants. Due to the restrictions of pandemics and the risk of transmission, the decrease in applications to health institutions may cause delays in the treatment of skin diseases such as eczema and thus, growth in lesions. In this case report, a case of eczema that developed due to the use of disinfectants due to the pandemic and was treated late due to pandemic restrictions is presented.
