Nifedipine is one of the calcium channel blockers used to treat hypertension and stable angina pectoris. The drug may induce gingival overgrowth. In this study, a case of gingival overgrowth induced by nifedipine is presented. It has been treated by discontinuation of nifedipine and oral hygiene instruction, without any surgical procedure for gingival overgrowth.
