The purpose of this study is to determine at which level mother and father involvement factors predict mental health among 15-17 age adolescents. The sample of the study is consisted of 401 students from 4 high schools in a middle sized city in western Turkey. Data were analyzed by Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. The findings show that, perceived nurtarant mothering and fathering had positive correlations with life satisfaction and general self worth, significant and negative correlation with depression and aggression scores. The results of multiple regression analysis have indicated that mother and father involvement is the significant predictors of mental health for adolescence. The results are discussed in the context of nurturant mothering, fathering and adolescence mental health providing a guide for future research and applications as well.
