Abstract
In this study, eleven songs selected from a variety of Sezen Aksu albums have been investigated in relation to some basic concepts of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. For this purpose, the basic concepts of REBT have been explained and then the expressions in these songs have been investigated in regards to these concepts. It is observed that these songs mostly reflect an irrational belief system.
