Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between university students' anxiety related to their research and research course achievement, research experience and sex. The participants of the study were 142 third grade students who have been studying educational sciences. Their personal data and research anxiety levels were obtained by application of “the research anxiety scale” whereas the research course achievement levels were obtained from the faculty registrations. Data was analyzed by using stepwise multiple regression analysis, thus it was found that research experience and course achievement were the significant factors of anxiety related to research and that the sex factor was not important.
